Adv - due diligence
Status:
completed 2004

A 335 key hotel built in 1972 in the middle of city of Kyoto was on sale. A feasibility report was required for one of the bidders to assess the value of the facilities. The architectural team assessed the renovation needs of the public spaces and guest rooms and calculated estimated costs, while the mechanical team identified pieces of equipment that required immediate and medium-term replacement. The report included a proposal for renovation in the lobby and entrance areas for re-branding. A comprehensive report in English was compiled and submitted. The bidder adjusted the bidding price assuming the expected expenditure after acquisition. [feasibility study for an international client on a property in Japan]
