A family-owned biochemical company was to develop a 4.5 ha property. The 324,000 sqm of program included a dinasaur museum, crafts museum, department stores, low- and high-rise office spaces, a 5-star hotel, a residential tower, and retail spaces that formed pedestrian streets extending the city fabric. Design emphasized experiential quality of spaces and the story-based approach was used. To share design values, the client and design team toured in the US, Europe, and Japan to observe retail oriented city centers. The process was filmed by a professional film crew and compiled into a one-hour movie. [project management for international architects and film production crew on a project of a Japanese client]
