An 80-seat Italian restaurant is planned behind an early 20c theater facade as an economic stimulus inserted to a run-down CBD of a mountain city with rich heritage. The facade has been an integral part of the streetscape, and therefore, is being rebuilt with a due improvement in its structure. The restaurant features a central open kitchen in a compact, yet tall space with exposed roofing structure. Its parking uses perforated paving to allow for lawn growth, and the outdoor spaces are designed to promote community interaction.
